REFUND POLICY
This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for purchases made within the Szelfie mobile application ("App") operated by TETRAI YAPAY ZEKA TEKNOLOJI BILISIM VE ILETISIM TICARET LIMITED SIRKETI ("Company", "we", "us", or "our").
1. In-App Purchases
All credit purchases in Szelfie are consumable in-app purchases processed through:
- Apple App Store (for iOS users)
- Google Play Store (for Android users)
We do not process payments directly. All transactions are handled by Apple or Google.
2. Automatic Refunds for Failed Generations
If an AI photo generation fails due to a system error or technical issue on our end, your credits will be automatically refunded to your account balance. This happens instantly and requires no action from you.
You will see a "Refunded" label on any failed generation in your history. Failed generations include:
- Server errors during image processing
- AI model errors that prevent image delivery
- Timeout errors where no image was produced
Credits are not refunded for generations that complete successfully, even if the result does not match your expectations.
3. Quality of Generated Images
AI-generated images may vary in quality and may not always meet your expectations. Because AI generation is an inherently variable process:
- We do not offer refunds for subjective quality concerns
- We do not guarantee specific results or outcomes
- Results depend on the quality of reference photos provided
For the best results, we recommend uploading 4-7 clear, well-lit selfies from different angles, without sunglasses, heavy filters, or other obstructions.
4. Requesting a Store Refund
If you wish to request a refund for a credit purchase, you must contact the store where you made the purchase:
Apple App Store:
- Open Settings on your device
- Tap your name, then "Media & Purchases"
- Tap "Purchase History" and find the transaction
- Tap "Report a Problem" and follow the instructions

Google Play Store:
- Open the Google Play Store app
- Tap your profile icon, then "Payments & subscriptions"
- Tap "Budget & order history" and find the transaction
- Tap "Request a refund" or "Report a problem"
- Or visit https://play.google.com/store/account/orderhistory
Apple and Google have their own refund policies and timelines. We cannot process refunds on their behalf.
5. Refund Processing Time
- Automatic in-app credit refunds (failed generations): Instant
- Apple App Store refunds: Typically 5-10 business days, at Apple's discretion
- Google Play Store refunds: Typically 1-4 business days, at Google's discretion
6. Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- Credits that have been used for successful generations
- Credits used for generations where images were delivered, regardless of subjective quality
- Free or promotional credits
- Credits on accounts that have been terminated for Terms of Service violations
7. Account Deletion and Unused Credits
If you choose to delete your account, any unused credits will be forfeited. We recommend using your remaining credits before deleting your account.
8. Disputes
If you have a billing dispute or believe you were charged incorrectly, please contact us at contact@tetrai.tech with:
- Your account email address
- The date and amount of the transaction
- A description of the issue
- Your App Store or Google Play receipt (if available)
We will investigate and respond within 5 business days.
9. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be communicated through the App or by updating this page.
